As part of our Blog Series, How Findhorn’s New Story Initiative Enhances My Life, we invited community member Anni Campbell to share what the New Story means to her at this extraordinary, yet often challenging time in our human evolution….
How did you discover Findhorn’s New Story Initiative?
I discovered Findhorn’s New Story Initiative through the internet.
What inspired you to participate in our Living the New Story online learning journeys?
A year ago I was trying to find a retreat center in Scotland or Ireland so I went online. Due to Covid restrictions on travel, I joined the New Story journey online.
How does our New Story work align with your values?
The New Story work aligns well with my values. I believe in deepening my spiritual values and actions in this world through exchange of ideas with others. Stepping out of my comfort box is important to me. I am finding so much personal and community meaning with all the presenters.
What contribution has participation in our work made to your life?
The New Story work has deepened my personal spiritual beliefs and exposed me to others with different spiritual beliefs whilst finding common ground to support one another on our journeys.
The Living the New Story programme from Findhorn has helped me move through my grief much less painfully. Findhorn discussions about the deep and intentional connections between different realms, nature and humans etc. have given me comfort when something sad or transitional happens. I feel a much stronger connection with the bigger picture of life which must include death in this our immediate world.
What inspires you to continue to gift to us in support of our work into the future?
Your commitment to building a more caring world.
Anni Campbell has just participated in her first Living the New Story online learning journey with us and has become a proactive advocate and supporter of our work.
This reflection forms part of our Blog Series, ‘How Findhorn’s New Story Initiative Enhances My Life’. We are deeply grateful to Anni for sharing her wisdom and insights with our Findhorn New Story Community. Be sure to read our other contributions in the Series, generously offered by our ardent supporters of a new story for humanity in these uncertain and changing times.
We are most appreciative of all those who support our New Story work in the world. If you feel inspired to gift from your heart and be a part of our gift ecology network, we would love to welcome you with open hearts and arms to cocreate the more loving and beautiful world our hearts know is possible, as our dear friend Charles Eisenstein says!
