This is the time to be slow,
Lie low to the wall
Until the bitter weather passes.
Try, as best you can, not to let
The wire brush of doubt
Scrape from your heart
All sense of yourself
And your hesitant light.
If you remain generous,
Time will come good;
And you will find your feet
Again on fresh pastures of promise,
Where the air will be kind
And blushed with beginning.

This brought tears to my eyes – a beautiful, gentle, life affirming and inspirational poem. I am so glad to have found it on a difficult journey on a difficult day!
I’ am on a train and so very moved by this! I would like to say I used to fell exactly like this and was different.
I live so fast now caring, working and travelling to family I feel so unlike the Ersoy I
Was bit grateful to be alive.
So much caring is a humbling experience but I am worn out.
Blessings of rest and renewal to you, Caroline. 🙏
