Interpretive touch drawing artist, Deborah Koff-Chapin, shares her story one year on from Findhorn's New Story Summit.... I am sitting at a café in Salt Lake City, Utah preparing to enter the Parliament of the World’s Religions. It seems time to reflect on my New Story Summit experience at this moment. My sense is that it prepared me for this day. Doing Interpretive Touch Drawing for a week amidst the intensity of the field we generated, brought me through some kind of passage. I feel ready to … Continue reading

Consciously and unconsciously, the cultural worldviews and stories we are swimming in influence our thoughts and actions and institutions. At Conference of Youth, the youth movement is writing and living a different story than the one we’ve been taught: one of cooperation, regeneration and justice. For our planet and for everyone. A Better Way of Doing Business | Giles Hutchins

26 November 2015 Leave a Comment

How can we deliver transformative change towards flourishing, resilient firms of the future? "There is a metamorphosis in our midst. As with the metamorphosis of a caterpillar to a butterfly, the initial stages of transformation are resisted by the incumbent dominant paradigm, yet, as more ‘imaginal cells’ of the ‘new way’ form into clusters, a tipping point is reached where wider understanding and acceptance of these transformative ways operating and organizing systemically form. "We live in … Continue reading

What can we do right now to best deal with climate change? Emily Arasim, Women’s Earth and Climate Action Network "Women’s voices must be at the forefront of conversations on climate change if we are to rebuild an equitable and healthy world. Who Am I Now by Clinton Callahan

25 November 2015 Leave a Comment

It has been a year since the New Story Summit. I am no longer that man who trudged into Findhorn with a motley crew of 15 Possibility Management trainers from the Trainer Guild to serve conscious evolution and upgrade human thoughtware on Earth. As you, I am someone else. What has happened to my story? Who am I now? For me, the 2014 New Story Summit failed embarrassingly. It was 9.5 on my Richter Scale of pain to directly experience so much human intelligence and such tremendous good will … Continue reading

A New Story of ‘Guardening’ by Edward Acland

23 November 2015 Leave a Comment

Edward Ecland shares his story one year on from Findhorn's New Story Summit.... New Stories need new words! The added ‘u’ in GUARDENING is intentional! We GUARDEN a 15 acre small-holding at Sprint Mill in Cumbria. We attempt to demonstrate how human-kind, on our microcosm scale can be of benefit to Planet Earth. Aiming for a sustainable future feels rather unadventurous! Alternatively, the spiral of being of benefit to the planet can go on forever! So the GUARDENING philosophy aims to show how … Continue reading
