Revolution of Dignity: Shaping the Destiny of Future Generations

30 March 2015

Aya Chebbi, a young Tunisian leader of great courage and audacity, speaks passionately about rewriting history to make it right for future generations. What we call 'Arab Spring', Aya's generation calls a 'Revolution of Dignity'. Her 4-minute speech was given at the UN Women event, 10 March, 'Planet 50-50 by 2030: Step It Up for Gender Equality,' to mark the 20th anniversary of the historic Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, which led to a blueprint for advancing women's rights.
