The New Story Summit: Inspiring Pathways for our Planetary Future was held from 27 September – 3 October 2014 at the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland.
The Summit was designed to support the emergence of a coherent new story for humanity and to produce practical, collaborative ways to live this new story. It was our call to people of all ages and cultures:
- those already living their edge of a new story
- those who have carried the best of the old story forward, the ancient and indigenous wisdom
- those investigating threads of possibility
- those seeking inspiration and insight as to what could be: to gather with open hearts and minds to open to and experience what we can co-create together.
Over 335 participants from around the globe attended the Summit with hundreds more individuals and hub groups joining online. To serve the growth of the New Story movement and bring the insights of the Summit to people across the planet, the sessions were web streamed and they are available here in the New Story Summit catalogue. Additionally, you can view selected video clips of talks and performances in the Summit video clips section. You can also read a rich selection of reflections on the Summit in our Blog and on our Findhorn New Story Community Facebook page.
Several amazing filmmakers committed their talent, energy and skills to create a package of videos designed to reach a wide range of target groups and communities after the Summit, for which we are deeply grateful. These videos became the source of inspiration for our first feature-length documentary film: An Enquiry into a New Story for Humanity: Change the Story, Change the World .
