Findhorn Fellows among 100 Most Spiritually Influential People by Janet Limb

18 February 2021 Leave a Comment

The 2021 list of the 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People from Watkins includes two Findhorn Fellows, Satish Kumar and Caroline Myss (pictured above), as well as Ruby Wax, a dear friend of the Findhorn Foundation.

Findhorn Fellows are a group of 130 leading educators and activists whose work in the world helps contextualise and expand the work of the Foundation itself.

The list, published each year by UK-based Watkins Mind Body Spirit magazine, includes spiritual teachers, activists, authors and thinkers that change the world. At number one is Pope Francis, followed by the Dalai Lama and then new entry Black Lives Matter, founded by Opal Tometi, Patrisse Cullors and Alicia Garza. David Attenborough is another new entry, at number 10.

Friends of the Foundation

The Findhorn Foundation has hosted many of the spiritually influential people at sell-out conferences in the past, including Eckhart Tolle, Mathew Fox and Vandana Shiva, who presented at our Climate Change and Consciousness conference at Easter 2019 (CCC19).

This year’s list has Findhorn Fellows Caroline Myss at number 66 and Satish Kumar at number 83.

Caroline Myss, five-time New York Times bestselling author and internationally renowned speaker in the fields of human consciousness, spirituality and health, describes Findhorn as her ‘favourite place on the planet’.

Satish Kumar is a former Jain monk and long-term peace activist, who has walked around the world carrying a message of peace. He is Editor Emeritus of Resurgence & Ecologist magazine and founder of Schumacher College. Satish has presented here many times at conferences and events.

‘And now for the good news…’

Our good friend Ruby Wax, who appears at number 62 on the list, is one of the UK’s foremost comedians, a best-selling author and mindfulness expert.

The Findhorn Foundation is very proud to feature in the ‘Communities’ section of Ruby’s latest book:

And now for the good news…. to the future with love: the much-needed tonic for our frazzled world.

Congratulations to Caroline Myss, Satish Kumar and Ruby Wax for appearing in Watkins 100 list this year; we are proud to have an association with your work.

  • Caroline Myss recently presented a talk The Power of Prayer for the Findhorn Foundation, and the replays are now available. Her three-day Guts and God event is available as a replay, free to watch by donation.
  • CCC19 – the Climate Change & Consciousness Conference presented by Vandana Shiva is also available as a replay, free to watch by donation.
