Facing Adversity: Choosing Earth, Choosing Life is an hour-long documentary that explores the magnitude, depth, and speed of our growing planetary crisis, and the opportunity to meet this crisis consciously.
The film begins with a visual exploration of key adversity trends facing humanity and includes short stories from people around the world being impacted by these trends. Then it turns to the opportunities within the crisis — to recognize and engage with the interdependence of life and the depth of human capacity. Interwoven are stories of resilience — at both the individual and community levels. Learning to work with this paradox — an unfolding global crisis and the opportunity to work towards a relational consciousness that cares for all of life — reveals the work ahead.
This documentary is a product of the Choosing Earth Project and directed by Coleen LeDrew Elgin.
