These are times of great testings and trials for each one of you. You need a rock-like unshakeable faith but at the same time great flexibility and understanding. Do not try to cling onto the old. March out into the New in absolute confidence and faith. Remember faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
You may have to do something or take some action for no apparent reason and the action you take may stir up a hornet’s nest. Never hesitate to do it because you are afraid of the consequences. Sometimes it is very necessary to give a situation a good stir up so all that is hidden deep down is brought up to the surface so the light of Truth can be shone on it and it can be transmuted and transformed and good come out of it. The attitude of peace at any price is a fatal mistake.
Discipline and obedience are two of the fundamental lessons which have to be learnt in life and in this spiritual life they are even more important. Therefore cease kicking against the pricks. Be ever grateful for every lesson which is learnt no matter how tough it may appear to be at the time, for every lesson which is learnt and learnt without resistance and resentment carries you further along the path.
