We are pleased to be welcoming mythologist Sharon Blackie as a session speaker during our 4th annual ‘Living the New Story’ online learning journey. This year’s theme is Myth, Magic & Miracles: a mystical journey of Self discovery for our uncertain and changing times. The 8-month journey runs live from Findhorn from 3 September 2020 to 8 April 2021.
Sharon will share with us on the topic: Rekindling Our Mythic Imagination.
To live an enchanted life is to be challenged, to be awakened, to be gripped and shaken to the core by the extraordinary, which lies at the heart of the ordinary. And above all, to live an enchanted life is to fall in love with the world all over again.
Sharon is an award-winning writer and internationally recognised teacher whose work sits at the interface of psychology, mythology and ecology. Her highly acclaimed books, courses, lectures and workshops are focused on the development of the mythic imagination, and on the relevance of our native myths, fairy tales and folk traditions to the personal, social and environmental problems we face today. She is the author of the bestselling ‘If Women Rose Rooted’ and most recently, ‘Foxfire, Wolfskin and other stories of shapeshifting women’.
