“The Standing People” is what Native Americans call them. No different in consciousness from us. They have families, like to cuddle, communicate, they look after each other, they do not fight against others for light, they support one another, they warn one another of insect attacks, they have heartbeat, have feelings and sense fear.
A documentary film (45 min.) about how trees communicate with each other, featuring forester and bestselling author Peter Wohlleben (‘The Hidden Life of Trees’) and forest ecologist Professor Simard (The University of British Columbia). There is also a corresponding Webseries featuring a selection of the highlights from the documentary.
