People from all walks of life are coming together in community to explore alternative ways of living and being. The Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) beautifully reflects the intent to live more sustainably and harmoniously on the planet. It consists of a constantly expanding network of intentional communities and ecovillages bridging all cultures and continents.
In July members from the GEN family from all over the world will gather at the Findhorn Foundation and Community to celebrate over 20 years of living the social and ecological principles that demonstrate how we can live a new story from healing ecosystems, social isolation and historic wounds to celebrating the wealth and diversity of our cultural heritage, to creating cyclic economies that serve environmental and societal wellbeing and shifting from business as usual to an entirely new paradigm. Is this a movement that could become mainstream? Enjoy this video of last year’s GEN-Europe conference and let us know what you think.
