Radical Transformation in Business and Beyond

31 March 2015 Leave a Comment

"There is a profound shift underway in our cultural story, sense of purpose and organizational logic. Deep and complex influences within our own psyche, our collective consciousness and in the structures pervading organizations are being challenged to radically reshape. "Worldwide women are fighting for their full power and emancipation. "For a world in which women can take their place without positioning themselves either above or below the man, without fighting or having to imitate him. A culture of partnership where the genders, as equally strong poles, complement and love each other. A world in which violence against women can no longer happen. Perhaps this full expression of human potential has been coded in us since time out of mind, but only now have so many been called to its realization. What … Continue reading

Zen and the art of social movement maintenance

"The untold story of how mindfulness was integral to Occupy's endurance and impact, holds vital lessons for those seeking mindfulness and a more just world. "Organizations that do anti-oppressive training to build movement power, like the Catalyst Project based in San Francisco, have begun integrating embodied awareness and mindfulness practices into their organizing work. In general, however, the tactical integration of mind/body and anti-oppression work is underdeveloped; it remains a site of … Continue reading
